Husmans Deli's delicious Appenzeller extra matured.

An exquisite cheese from Switzerland, made in the canton of Appenzell. Made from unpasteurized cow's milk. Strong fruity flavor and scent of barn and hard in consistency. Enjoyed in thin slices with fresh fruit, salad and sourdough bread. Also good as a melted cheese for example burgers or fondue. Preferably served with a flavorful white wine or a fruity and flavorful red wine made from the syrah/shiraz grape.
